The Bakersfield men's soccer team hosts Houston Baptist and Kansas City this week.

Bakersfield (4-7-2, 2-2-1 WAC leads the all-time series against Houston Baptist  2-0-1. The Roadrunners defeated the Huskies 4-1 last season in Houston.

After winning six in a row, the Huskies are 0-2-1 over the past three matches. Houston Baptist (7-4-1, 2-2-1) leads the WAC in shots per game (19.2), goals per game (1.67), and assists per game (1.33). Tobenna Uzo is second in the WAC in points per game (1.50) and goals per game (0.75). He is also tied for second in gamewinning goals with two.

This is the first meeting between Bakersfield and Kansas City  in men's soccer. Kansas City is 3-0-1 in its last four after going 0-3-1 in its previous four. The Kangaroos (4-5-4, 3-1-1have been called offsides a league high 48 this season.

Jordan Rideout is second in the league in shots (50) and shots per game (3.85). Rideout is third in the WAC in goals with six. Goalie Chris McGaughey is second in the conference in saves (47) and saves per game game (4.27).
