BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSU Bakersfield (11-15) returns to UC Santa Barbara (14-12) for a 3 p.m. matchup Tuesday afternoon. The Roadrunners defeated the Gauchos 7-6 Mar. 6 to take a 4-3 all-time series lead. UC Santa Barbara will play two games at CSUB later on this season.

The Gauchos took 2-of-3 from UC Riverside in the BIg West Conference opener last weekend in Santa Barbara. Greg Mathe is UCSB's leading hitting at a .398 clip. CSUB won 2-of-3 from Sacramento State last weekend in Bakersfield. Tyler Shryock (So., Techachapi, Calif.) posted four RBI's during the series.

Taylor Aikenhead (So., Lancaster, Calif., Bakersfield College) is ranked first in Division I in complete games in the NCAA Statistical Report issued Apr. 2. Aikenhead has posted four complete games this season. He is second in Division I in games started (8) and 17th in victories (5).
