CSUB Starts 11-Game Road Trip In Fresno Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—CSU Bakersfield starts an 11-game road trip Saturday night when the Roadrunners (17-18) travel to Fresno State (16-19) Saturday in a makeup game of an earlier date lost to weather.  First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.

Fresno State leads the all-time series against CSUB 10-8 after defeating the Roadrunners twice earlier this season. The Bulldogs gave head coach Mike Batesole his 600th career victory on Tuesday when Fresno State defeated Cal Poly 5-3 in San Luis Obispo.

Aaron Judge leads the team in hitting (.313), home runs (2), and is second on the squad in RBI's (15). Lefthander Thomas Harlan (4-5, 2.40 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Bulldogs. Jeff McKenzie (Jr., El Dorado Hills, Calif., San Joaquin Delta College) gets the start for the Roadrunners. McKenzie is 2-4 with a 2.30 ERA for CSUB this season.

USC scored six runs with outs as the Trojans defeated CSU Bakersfield 11-2 in front of a CSUB school record crowd of 1,063 Tuesday night at Hardt Field. The previous Roadrunner attendance record was 1,049 set during the 2010 season opener against Air Force.
