BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSU Bakersfield (15-16) travels to UC Riverside this weekend for a three-game baseball series. Friday and Saturday's games begin at 6 p.m. with Sunday's action getting underway at 1 p.m.

UC Riverside leads the all-time series against CSU Bakersfield 8-1. The Highlanders are 9-16 after in extra innings, 7-6, to Pepperdine Tuesday. Eddie Young is the team's leading hitter (.341). Righthander Eddie Orozco anchors the pitching staff with a 4-3 record and a 2.18 ERA.

Cal State Northridge defeated CSUB 4-3 Tuesday afternoon when the Matadors scored the game winning run on an error with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
