BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSU Bakersfield travels to Cal State Northridge Tuesday afternoon in the first of three games against the Matadors this season. The Roadrunners return to Northridge Apr. 24 with the Matadors traveling to Bakersfield on May 22.

Bakersfield and Northridge have played eight times with each team winning four times. The Matadors, who hired former CSUB assistant coach Dennis Machado in the offseason, are 13-18 entering Tuesday's game. Cal State Northridge's leading hitters are Ryan Raslowsky and Tommy Simlis who are batting .304.

The Roadrunners swept Santa Clara Apr. 6-7 with Jeff McKenzie (Jr., El Dorado Hills, Calif., San Joaquin Delta College) and Taylor Aikenhead (So., Lancaster, Calif., Bakersfield College) posting complete games.
