BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSU Bakersfield travels to the USC Women of Troy Classic this weekend where the Roadrunners will face No. 4 Duke and UC Davis.
CSUB (2-10) takes on the Blue Devils Friday night at 7:30 p.m. At 8-0, Duke is ranked fourth in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. California is a common opponent between CSUB and Duke this season. Elizabeth Williams leads the team in scoring (16.3 ppg).
This is the first meeting between CSUB and Duke in women's basketball. This will be the seventh time that the Roadrunners have faced a nationally ranked opponent since making the transition to Division I in 2006-07.
CSUB and UC Davis are playing for the 11th time with the Roadrunners leading the all-time series 8-2. Since both teams began playing at the Division I level, the squads have played twice with each team winning once.
At 3-4, the Aggies defeated Santa Clara Dec. 16 70-59 at home. Sydnee Fipps leads the team in scoring at a 18.7 ppg clip.
