BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSU Bakersfield's Lucas Dall'Orso (So., Orange County, Calif., JSerra Catholic High School) was named MPSF Men's Soccer Player of the Week Oct. 1.

Dall'Orso came off the bench to score two goals and record two assists to lead CSU Bakersfield past UNLV 5-1 in the MPSF opener for both schools Sept. 29. His two goals matched his season total from 2011, while the six points equaled a 2012 individual best in the conference. Five of Dall' Orso's points came in the second-half.

Gyasi Zardes (R-Jr., Hawthorne, Calif., Leutzinger HS) earned CollegeSportsMadness.com MPSF Player of the Week honors for his performance in the same match. Zardes scored two goals and dished out two assists against the Rebels.

CSUB hosts San Jose State Friday night at 7 p.m.
