CSUB Track Competes At Mt. Sac Relays And Bryan Clay Invitational

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The CSUB track programs competed at the Mt. Sac Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational Apr. 15. Here are the Roadrunner highlights;

MEN
At the Mt. Sac Relays; the 4x100m relay of Michael Davis (Sr., Pacoima, Calif., Fresno City College), Jordan Taylor (Fr., Palmdale, Calif., William Pete Knight HS), Justus Mora (Fr., Sparks, Nev., Spanish Springs HS), and Matthew Turkington (Fr., Bakersfield, Calif. (Centennial HS) finished sixth in a time of :41.63.

Ryan Nichols (Sr., Bakersfield, Calif., South HS) placed seventh in the 100m by running a time of :10.73. Davis was 17th (:10.87) in the race.

Mora won his heat of the 100m at the Bryan Clay Invitational in a time of :10.87.

WOMEN
The Roadrunners sent all of their entries to the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Arianna Celis (Sr., Perris, Calif., Riverside CC) was second in the 1500m (4:31.18) and third in the 800m (2:11.69). Her 800m time is a personal best.

Casey Glassey (Sr., Loma Linda, Calif., Riverside CC) placed third in the 5000m in a time of 17:42.07.

Briana Woodfox (Sr., Lewisville, Texas, Lewisville HS) finished fifth in the long jump (18-5 1/4).
