CSUB Splits On Day 2 Of Roadrunner Invitational

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--CSUB split a pair of matches on day two of the Roadrunner Invitational Mar. 26 at the Hillman Aquatics Center.

The Roadrunners dropped a 17-8 decision to No. 15 UC Davis in the morning session. Jessica Browning (So., Lake Forest, Calif., El Toro HS) recorded a hat trick. Also scoring a goal for CSUB were Haylie Glandon (So., Fresno, Calif., Clovis West HS), Bianca Adams (Fr., Ontario, Calif., St. Lucy's Priory HS), Tammy Barksdale (Sr., Atascadero, Calif., Cuesta College), Amanda Nesbit (So., Chino Hills, Calif., Chino Hills HS), and Taylor Hanson (Fr., Modesto, Calif., Johansen HS).

The Roadrunners defeated Cal State Monterey Bay 15-8 Saturday afternoon. Browning and Hanson each scored three goals. Adams, Paige Tsurda (Fr., Honolulu, Hawaii, Word of Life Academy), and Shannon McKenzie (R-So., Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Rancho Cucamonga HS) all scored two goals. Sam Shead (So., Johannesburg, South Africa, Rand Park HS), Malia Pahoa (Jr., Lake Elsinore, Calif., Temescal Canyon HS), and Glandon rounded out the CSUB scoring.

The Roadrunners conclude the tournament Sunday when CSUB hosts No. 16 Hartwick in the morning (8 a.m.) and Cal State Bernardino in the afternoon (3:35 p.m.).
