BRIDGEPORT, Pa.—Seven CSU Bakersfield water polo players earned an Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Academic Award.
 
Lindsey Paulson and Ruby Versfeld are a part of the outstanding team as both recorded grade point averages between 3.71 and 4.00. Katie Benson is a superior selection as she tallied a GPA between 3.41 and 3.70. 
 
Kristen Jensen, Lauren Paulson, Stephanie Stofila, and Tancy Aldridge were named to the excellent team. All four maintain a GPA between 3.20 and 3.40.
 
A total of 536 athletes were recognized (140 Outstanding, 210 Superior, 186 Excellent) by the organization.
