WOODLAND, Calif.—Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Executive Director, Al Beaird, has announced the MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athletes for the 2017 women's water polo season.
A CSU Bakersfield record of 10 Roadrunners were nominated for the honor based on the following criteria;
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received.
4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in his or her respective sport.
CSUB athletes selected for the honor are as follows;

- Stephanie Stofila 3.40
- Kristen Jensen 3.27
- Tancy Aldridge 3.22
- Courtney Wahlstrom 3.14

- Ashley Paz 3.04
- Gabby Wiltse 3.00
With 10 selections, the Roadrunners tied UCLA for the second most in the MPSF. Stanford led the way with 13 selections.
