BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The CSUB Men's Swimming team finished third in the final CollegeSwimming.com / CSCAA Mid-Major Division I Poll released Mar. 15. Navy is first, followed by Princeton and the Roadrunners.

CSUB received five points in the TYR/CSCAA Division I Poll released Mar. 15. The Roadrunners are 36 away from breaking into the top 25 and would be considered 41st in the poll.

"We are super excited to make such an impact in the DI swimming world so quickly and we hope to continue are climb," said CSUB Head Coach Chris Hansen. "We were not even in the top 25 my after my first year. We finished seventh last year. My goal is to finish number one  in the near future>"

The Roadrunners finished the 2011 season as MPSF Champions, the first Division I conference title since CSUB made the transition to Division I.
