SAN DIEGO, Calif-CSUB (4-19) dropped a pair of decisions
at the San Diego State Invitational Mar. 13.
Wagner defeated the Roadrunners 14-10 Sunday morning. Taylor Hanson (Fr., Modesto, Calif., Johansen HS) and Sam Shead (So., Johannesburg,
South Africa, Rand Park HS) each scored three goals to pace CSUB.
Jessica Browning (So., Lake Forest, Calif., El Toro HS)
scored one goal and drew five ejections. Megan Pezzolla (So., Upland, Calif.,
Bonita HS) posted 4 saves.
No. 20 Pacific defeated CSUB 6-3 in the final match of
the tournament. Browning, Shead, and Shannon
McKenzie (R-So. Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Rancho Cucamonga HS) were the
Roadrunners' goal scorers. Pezzolla made 13 saves. Browning drew three ejections.
CSUB is off until Mar. 23 when the Roadrunners travel to
No. 6 Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles.
