BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The CSUB men's soccer team will take on the Mexico¨U–20 National team on Tuesday, Aug. 24, on the Main Soccer Field at 7 p.m.

The Mexican U–20 squad will play four games in southern California, beginning with Tuesday's contest against the Roadrunners. Mexico will take on Cal Poly on Wednesday, Aug. 25, UC Santa Barbara on Friday, Aug. 27, and concludes with the Ventura County Fusion on Sunday, Aug. 29.

Advance tickets are available at these locations. Tickets for youth are $10 and adults are $20. On the day of the game, kids prices are $15 and adults are $25. The game is being presented by the US Soccer Federation. CSUB student tickets will not be allowed for this specific contest.

Last season, CSUB hosted the Mexico U–17 National Team, playing to a draw in regulation and was decided in a thrilling display of penalty kicks. Be sure to get there early for great seats as CSUB has expanded the Main Soccer seating to around 75 percent of the field.

"Timing of this game is impeccable," says Head Coach Simon Tobin. "This will be the best game we will play this fall. If we are able to compete on some level with this team, it will bode well for us. We got some great experience playing the U-17s last season. This is a much more similar age group and will be a great test for us. It is a great way for us to kickoff out season."

The Mexico U–20 National Team will be available for autographs following the contest.
