NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Switching up events in an attempt to help choose relay members and events for Conference USA Championships in February, the CSUB men's swim team won 12 of 14 events Thursday, en route to a 150-82 win over Cal State Northridge.
Head Coach Chris Hansen mixed up his lineup, and was very pleased with the results. “We had some really good swims in off events,” he said. “We needed to shore up some relay lineups and this was a good opportunity to test some things.”
The Roadrunners opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:36.17 and never looked back. Vance Elmore won the first individual event of the day, the 1,000 free, in a personal-best time of 10:03.75.
