Biography
2010: Broke one CSUB all-time record and entered the top five list in one other event during his first year as a Roadrunner…swam a CSUB record, and NCAA “B” cut, 48.26 in the preliminaries of the 100 fly at the Conference USA Championships…later placed third overall in the event in 48.67…also holds the No. 5 fastest time in the 100 breast (56.48)…was the third leg of the school-record setting 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams…both times were set at the C-USA Championships and were NCAA “B” cut times…other top times were 20.84 in the 50 free, 46.31 in the 100 free and 1:58.11 in the 200 IM.
Limestone College: Recorded top times of 20.39 in the 50 free, 55.17 in the 100 breast, 48.59 in the 100 fly and 45.77 in the 100 free at Limestone College…earned NCAA DII All-American honors in 2008 and was a member of the NCAA DII National Champion and national record holder 200 free relay team in 2009…record-holder in the 100 breast and 200 fly…team finished fourth at the 2009 NCAA Division II Championships…held a 4.0 GPA for his final two semesters and had a cumulative 3.7 GPA during his two years at Limestone College.
Westville Boys HS: Team captain of the Westville Boys High School swim team in Durban, South Africa… helped the team to the Durban District title in 2005 and a second place finish in 2006…also a member of the rugby and water polo teams.
Personal: A business administration major with an emphasis in economics…parents are Noel and Heather Parsonage…born Oct. 22, 1988, in Durban, South Africa.
