LOYOLA NOTES: Although Arizona snapped their three?match win streak Saturday, the Lions are red?hot, having won 5 of 6 entering Friday's match...other losses are to Ohio State, Middle Tenn., and New Mexico...Sr. OH Emily Day leads four Lions with 100+ kills at 199...So. MB Becky Stehling adds 113 kills, a team?best .346 attack pct. and 31 total blocks...Ariana Covington has 107 kills.

SERIES HISTORY: LMU leads the all?time series 4?1. . .The teams have not met since CSUB took a marathon 15?10, 10?15, 3?15, 15?13, 15?10 decision on Sept. 18, 1990. . . Prior to that match, the teams had not met since 1982. . .LMU and CSUB played. . .twice in both the 1981 and 1982 seasons, with the Lions winning all four.

NORMAN NAMED AGGIE INVITE MVP: Senior outside hitter Sarah Norman (Stockdale HS) gave a phenomenal performance at last week's Aggie Invitational, earning tournament MVP honors for her efforts. She totalled an impressive 54 kills (4.5 kps), to go along with a hefty .411 attack percentage.

STRIBLING EARNS ANOTHER ALL?TOURNEY NOD... Senior middle blocker Rosemary Stribling (West HS) made it 4?for?4 in all?tourney awards this season by being named to the Aggie Invitational all?tournament team. She has earned the honor at Fresno State, Wichita State and Davis in addition to the Roadrunner Invitational so far this season

...WHILE WARNER EARNS HER FIRST: Senior outside hitter Sarah Warner (Tehachapi HS) earned the first all?tournament award of her collegiate career at the Aggie Invitational. Warner helped lead CSUB to the tournament title with 23 total kills. She played an integral role as the 'Runners avenged an early season loss to UC Davis, providing eight kills and a .368 attack percentage.

McNAUGHTON NOW NO. 2 ON CAREER DIGS LIST: With 63 total digs (5.25 dps) last week at the Aggie Invitational, senior libero Mystie McNaughton (Stockdale HS) passed former All?American Amy Wade for No. 2 on the list. McNaughton enters the week with 1,561 digs, she continues to close in on Camille Mitchell's CSUB career record of 1,793. At her current pace, McNaughton would finish with between 1,900 and 2,000 digs.
