 Mission 

The mission of the NCAA is to maintain intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the campus educational program and the student-athlete as an integral part of the student body. With this in mind, the `Runner Ready Program is designed to holistically develop student-athletes and prepare them for life beyond their student-athlete experience.

 Student-Athlete Advisory Council 

SAAC exists to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image. The SAAC performs a multitude of functions, both within the department as well as in the campus and greater Bakersfield communities.
