Welcome Letter from Head Arthur Smith & Head Coach Lauren Shearon Dear Future Roadrunners, Thank you for your interest in joining our ROADRUNNER SPIRIT FAMILY. Our Spirit Program includes three teams: Cheer, Dance and Mascot. Starting in the Spring of 2024 we will host our first ever STUNT team.  All our teams provide direct support to the Athletics department, university and the community at-large. This support is demonstrated through attendance at sporting events attendance, special appearances and performances on and off campus. Spirit squads support indoor volleyball and selected soccer game during the fall semester. Men's and Women's basketball  during the winter and selected baseball and softball games in the spring. Membership is a twelve-month committed and we encourage only serious athletes apply. We are confident that your experience as a member of our program will meet and exceed our four pillars as set by our department of: ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, COMPETITIVE SUCCESS AND STUDENT-ATHLETE EXPERIENCE.   Go `Runners!
