Thank you for your interest in our SPIRIT PROGRAMS { Cheer, Dance and Mascot}. The information below is provided to give you direction on what you will need to do to be best prepared for in-person tryouts.

 

Step 1:	Be admitted to CSU Bakersfield for the upcoming academic year.	Bring copy of acceptance letter or fall class schedule to tryout/audition
Step 2:	Gather the following items (hard copies turned in on (May 4th or 5th)	CSU Bakersfield Liability Waiver ,CSU Bakersfield Information Sheet , Head Shot and Insurance card
Step 3	Attendance requirements	Attend at least ONE pre-tryout clinic & Attend IN-PERSON tryout

What to wear.....

Dance team	Plain Black leggings, Black Shorts, Black Shirt/tank top and/or sports bra. Hair down (curly or straight) with gameday makeup. Face stickers provided
Cheer/Mascot  team	Plain Black shorts, Plain White T-shirt, Plain white hair bow and White sneakers, Hair in ponytail with gameday makeup. Face stickers provided.
Personal Interview	Business casual attire, no jeans and no tennis shoes. Hair may we worn down

Team announcements will be made on Saturday, May 6th at 5:00pm. Team meeting at 5:30pm at the Icardo Center.
