`Runners Drop Nailbiter Against Gonzaga

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Cal State Bakersfield men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Gonzaga in a hard-fought battle on Saturday at the Main Soccer Field. The Roadrunners controlled much of the first half and created early chances, but the Bulldogs scored in the 76th minute to claim the victory.

CSUB continued to battle, including earning a free kick just outside the box with 7 seconds remaining. The blast glanced off the wall as Preciado finished with four saves and Gonzaga held on for the shutout.
