Wideman Locks in Coleman for 2025-26

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Head Coach Ari Wideman is continuing to strengthen her 2025-26 squad with the addition of talented players like Chrishawn Coleman. With her ability to lead and contribute both offensively and defensively, Coleman brings a dynamic presence that will further elevate the team's performance.

Chrishawn Coleman is an electric guard that can score on all 3 levels. She brings an immediate scoring presence and toughness on the defensive end. We are elated that she is a `Runner and know that the fans will love how hard she plays!.”

  • In her career at Morehead State, Coleman Played in all 30 games, starting 18, with an average of 23.9 minutes per game
    • Second on the team in scoring, averaging 11.3 points per game
    • Led team in OVC conference play with 13.2 points per game
    • Named OVC Freshman of the Week four times
  • Scored a career-high 37 points and grabbed six rebounds against Tennessee Tech (1/30), leading the OVC
    • Scored in double figures in 14 games
    • Registered a season-high six assists at UT Martin
  • Prior to Moredhead she played at Mansfield Timberview High School
    • Two-time member of the THSCA Super Elite Team
    • Named First-Team All-Area by the Dallas Morning News and 5A UIL All-State Team
    • Region 1 Tournament MVP and 5A UIL All-Tournament honoree
    • Averaged 12.9 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game
    • Named Fort Worth Star Telegram Defensive Player of the Year
