Head Coach Rod Barnes on what AJ George will bring to the 2025-26 Roadrunners:
“We are excited to welcome AJ George to Cal State Bakersfield. His elite athleticism and versatility will immediately impact our program. We are very familiar with AJ from his time with Long Beach, and we know the toughness and energy he brings every single day. His experience playing in the NCAA Tournament is invaluable – he knows what it takes to win at a high level, and that mindset will elevate our locker room. Being a Fresno native, we are proud to bring him back to the Valley. He is not just a great basketball player, but also someone who will be an asset to the Bakersfield community both on and off the court.”
