CSUB Athlete of the Week: Fidelis Okereke

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Fidelis Okereke has earned Cal State Bakersfield athlete of the week honors after a strong showing in a pair of Big West men's basketball games this week.

The 6-foot-6 senior had 15 points, three rebounds a block and a steal in the Roadrunners' 73-64 home loss to UC Irvine, following up a 14 points, 11-rebound performance in Thursday's 71-66 victory at UC Davis on Thursday.

Fidelis has started all 29 games for CSUB this season, averaging 6.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and a team-high 1.2 blocks per game.
