Women's Soccer Completes 2024 Freshman Class

The Cal State Bakersfield women's soccer team excitedly completes their 2024 freshman class, head coach Bernardo Silva announced.

The incoming freshmen class moves up to a total of 12 with the addition of Isis Salazar, Mya Clarke, Miah Thomas, and Daniela Aceves.

The new addition to the class includes a pair of midfielders and a pair of defenders to the Roadrunner squad. All women come to Bakersfield from various parts of the state. All twelve players are Silva's first freshmen recruiting class in his young career. The class of 2028 freshmen will be eligible to play in the upcoming 2024 campaign.

“This is a special recruiting class for me as it is my first one and I couldn’t be more excited about the group of 12 freshman coming in. After the signing of 8 NLI’s back in November, we still felt like there were some outstanding young women and top players out there that would benefit the competitive culture that we are building here at Cal State Bakersfield. This is a young group that is coming into a program in the early stages of building a winning foundation that will allow us to compete for titles in the Big West and represent the city of Bakersfield proudly.”
