BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Cal State Bakersfield track and field program adds yet another stellar sprinter to the 2024-25 roster. New addition Amiera Hollis heads to Bakersfield from Hanford, Calif. where she is finishing up her high school career at Hanford West High School.  

Hollis holds her school records in both the 100m (12.27) and 200m (25.27) events. She recently became the Tri-County Conference champion in the 100m and 200m. Hollis has personal bests of 12.12 in the 100m and 25.17 in the 200m from her her USA Wings club competitions. 

"We are extremely pleased to welcome Amiera Hollis to our Roadrunner family!" said assistant track and field coach Joshua Biagtan.  

"Amiera is a key addition to our sprint group, and I am expecting her to elevate that group even more. She is extremely explosive and is an absolute gamer; I am excited to see what she can do for us in the future. I am elated for the opportunity to work with someone of her academic and athletic caliber, as well as someone who understands our vision and what we are trying to do from a group and team perspective", said Biagtan.
