Jemel, known for his exceptional scoring ability, brings a versatile offensive arsenal that enables him to score in a variety of ways. Whether it’s shooting from long range, driving through tough defenses, or finishing at the rim, Jemel’s dynamic scoring talent promises to invigorate the `Runners’ offensive strategies.
His fierce competitiveness is a key attribute that Jemel will bring to our program. This trait not only makes him a formidable opponent on the court but also drives his teammates to elevate their own performances, fostering a culture of excellence and determination within the team.
Moreover, Jemel's humility and strong work ethic exemplify the core values of CSUB. A native of south side Chicago, Jemel will be an inspiration on and off the floor to many people from his hometown. - Finished first in defensive rebounds (273), total rebounds (362), assists (207), steals (122), points (1,245), and points per game (33.6)
- Named to the All-Tournament Team at the NJCAA National Championship Tournament
- MVP of the Midwest District A Tournament
- Region IV-A Player of the Year
- NABC Two Year College Player of the Year
- Has a career total of 1,999 points
- Earned back-to-back nods as a NJCAA II All-American in the 2022-23 season with Olive Harvey and this 2023-24 season with South Suburban College
