In round one Iris Han, Sarah Mutai, and Fiona Clancy all finished under par, the first time in Roadrunner history three `Runners have completed a round under par. This effort helped Bakersfield reset the single-round team score record of 285 (-3), last year's record was set in the third round of the Clash at Boulder Creek with a score of 290 (+2). Mutai adds another top-10 finish to her resume, finishing T-9 after shooting one stroke under par for the tournament; this is the senior's second top 10 finish on the year.
Bakersfield's second and third rounds were close, finishing the second round with a score of 297 (+9) and third round with 296 (+8). The Roadrunners would go onto finish the tournament tying the 54-hole team score record that was set last year, 878 (+14).
The Roadrunners will pick back up in February for the Fresno State Invitational, taking place at Soboba Springs GC in San Jacinto, Calif. on February 4-6.
