Belgian Tom Mark to Join CSUB Men's Basketball

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Continuing to dip into the pool of talented international student-athletes, the Cal State Bakersfield men's basketball program is excited to welcome a Belgian to the squad for next season. CSUB Head Coach Rod Barnes announced that Tom Mark will transfer to Bakersfield after two standout seasons in the junior college ranks.

Completing his sophomore year at Tallahassee Community College in Florida
- Started in 33 games, helping the Eagles post a 31-6 record on the way to the NJCAA National Semifinals in Hutchinson, Kan.
- Earned First Team All-Conference honors after averaging 9.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game
- Converted on 63% of his field goal attempts, including 37% from three-point range (17-of-46)
Spent the 2021-22 season at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyo.
- Started 23 games for the Lancers
- Led squad with 15.3 points and 9.4 rebounds a game
- Named to the All-Region IX North Second Team
- Scored 29 points against Casper College on Feb. 16
A member of the squad at Salt Lake Community College in Utah in 2020-21
- Appeared in two games for the Bruins
