Five `Runners Post Personal Bests in Indoor Finale

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Cal State Bakersfield women's track and field wrapped up its final team indoor event of the season on Friday. The Roadrunners tackled a competitive field at NAU's Ron Mann Classic with several career-best marks highlighting a full day of action.

Miranda Miller tied for the best vault of the day with Karlee Fowler (13-01.50), but Fowler, a professional vaulter, won the event on a tiebreaker. Every one of Miller's jumps this year met or exceeded what she did last year during indoor season.
The `Runner throwers continued to show out in the weight throw. All three finished Top 8 with Jessi Solis (51-03.50) leading the way with a fifth-place finish. Madison King (50-06.00) came in sixth and Kayla Price (49-05.50) placed eighth with both setting personal bests on Friday.
Julia Stein finished third in her 60m hurdles heat (9.11), but qualified eighth overall for the finals. Later in the meet, she lowered her personal best by a noticeable drop with a time of 8.99, finishing sixth overall.
Nerissa Thompson also posted a career-low time of 7.78 in the 60-meter dash.
Kailee Yoshishige recorded a big improvement in the 60 hurdles, finishing 11th with a 9.37 time.
