Sivec and Jerebic Lead the Way in First Dual Victory

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In a split-result weekend against UC San Diego and Claremont-Mudd-Scrips, the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams had a few standout performers. For the third week in a row, Vili Sivec showcased his olympic-hopeful talent, winning both the 100 and 200 Fly against UCSD (49.02 and 1:47.67) with his 200-time being the fastest to-date. Likewise, Lorena Jerebic crushed her events, also winning the 100 and 200 fly against UCSD (56.93 and 2:05.41). Thanks to the fantastic individual performances of Sivec, Jerebic, Kylie Ney, Arthur Schneider, and more, the `Runners took their first dual win of the season and will build on that effort going forward.
