2024-25 (JUNIOR): Focused on sprint/mid-distance freestyle…Earned All-Conference for his contribution in the 200 freestyle relay splitting a 20.02…Helped lead his relay team to a bronze medal in the 200 free relay, breaking the CSUB record (1:18.66)…Also broke CSUB’s record in the 400 freestyle relay (2:56.47)…Posted personal best times in the 100 free (44.90) and the 500 free (4:29.05) at the Big West Championship…Served up another personal best time in the 200 free (1:37.41) at the Toyota U.S Open Championships…Earned Academic All-Conference Honors.
2023-24 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in wide range of freestyle events…Won three individual races and placed Top 5 a total of 15 times…Won bronze at the MPSF Championships with the 800 free relay team, which posted the third-fastest time (6:29.51) in CSUB history…Helped 400 free relay team post second-best time (2:57.36) in program history…Earned C-final appearances in three events (100, 200, and 500 free) at MPSF Championships…Posted personal best times in 50 free (21.90), 100 free (45.52), and 200 IM (1:57.58)…Competed at TYR Pro series meet in Westmont, Ill., resetting 100-meter free PR (52.34)…Earned Academic All-Conference honors.
2022-23 (FRESHMAN): Competed in six different events, primarily focusing on the distance freestyle races…Won five individual races and posted 12 Top 3 finishes…Scored points in the 200 free, 500 free, and 1650 free at the MPSF Championships…Qualified for and competed in three events at the National Invitational Championships...Placed 10th in the 200 free with a season-best time of 1:38.02 at the MPSF meet and placed 18th at NICs…Helped 400 free relay team post the third-fastest time in CSUB history (2:58.14).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Colegio Mae de Deus in Porto Alegre, Brazil...Competed in swimming for Gremio Nautico Uniao...2020 Brazilian National Bronze Medalist in the 800 Freestyle Relay...2021 Brazilian Winter Junior National Champion and meet record holder in the 800 Freestyle Relay.
PERSONAL: A biology major who plans to pursue advanced degrees and research opportunities or possibly go into coaching.
