Roadrunners to Face Nationally Ranked Opponents

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The 2023-24 Men's Basketball schedule features some notable names that will test the `Runners and prepare them for conference play.

Bakersfield will be visiting two pre-season poll ranked opponents this season, #21 USC and #11 Gonzaga according to NCAA.com.

The Roadrunners go to Los Angeles to take on the Trojans Thursday, November 9^th. This USC roster consists of the No. 3 Recruiting Class in the nation, two names headlining the class include Bronny James and the top recruit in the nation, Isaiah Collier. Southern California reached the NCAA Tournament last season as the 10-seed but lost in the first round to 7-seeded Michigan State.

The `Runners then head North to Washington to take on the Bulldogs on Tuesday, November 28^th. Gonzaga finished the 2022-23 season in the Elite Eight as the 3-seed, falling to 4-seed UCONN. The Zags added Ryan Nembhard, who was ranked as the No. 2 prospect in ESPN's transfer portal ratings. Over the past four seasons, Gonzaga has won a nation best 121 games, while going 58-4 in the West Coast Conference.
