`Runner Offense Explodes Against La Sierra

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Cal State Bakersfield men's basketball team enjoyed a well-rounded offensive performance that led to a 41-point victory against visiting La Sierra University on Tuesday night. The Roadrunners sprinted ahead of the Golden Eagles and never looked back, earning a 90-49 win in their first home game since Nov. 7.

Quotes
  • "I think my confidence builds fast with good games, especially wins. We've been working in practices and I'm trying to figure out myself more and more on the court." – Modestas Kancleris, on his development.
  • "I thought we had really good focus. That's been one of our issues as we've gone on the road. Tonight we put some guys more into the rotation and I thought they responded well. We've just got to continue to improve." - Head Coach Rod Barnes on Tuesday's game.
  • "I think it just tests our integrity and our fight. We have to stay together through all those games because it's us against them when we're on the road. It's us against a whole stadium, so we just have to continue to keep that mindset when we're on the road." – Travis Henson on heading back out for two more road games.
