Francesco Montanile registered a goal and an assist for the Anteaters.

The Roadrunners fell to 2-11-2 overall and 0-6-1 in Big West Conference play and were officially eliminated from post-season play. UC Irvine improved to just 3-11-2 overall, but the Anteaters are now 3-3-0 in league action.

"We got off to a great start drawing the penalty and looked very confident for a period," said CSUB Head Coach Richie Grant. "Full credit to Irvine in the second half as they took control and forced us to chase the game."
