Crawford Earns Pair of Second Place Finishes

AZUSA, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield men and women's outdoor track and field wrapped up the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday. The Roadrunners found success in multiple events in Azusa, Calif.

Derek Crawford led Bakersfield in sprints with second place finishes in the 400- and 200-meter dashes. He ran personal bests in both events. Crawford ran the 200m in 21.99 seconds and the 400m in 48.55.

Julia Stein performed well in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles finals. She placed fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.15 and sixth in the 400m hurdles (1:05.38).

Ryan Bentley placed fourth in high jump with a season best 6'5" mark.
