Women's Track & Field Signs Kailee Yoshishge

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The CSU Bakersfield women's track and field team announced the signing of Kailee Yoshishge to a National Letter of Intent. Yoshishge will join CSUB next seson for iys first year in the Big West Conference.

Yoshishige is joining the `Runners from Clackamas High School where she made her mark leading the Cavaliers as captain the past two seasons. She is a three-time conference champion, has qualified for state three times and finished as a finalist twice.

Yoshishige ran on all three relay teams that broke school records but specializes in hurdles where she has garnered recognition each year. She was named Newcomer of the Year at the conclusion of her freshman season then inducted into the CHS track team Athletic Hall of Fame as a sophomore. Most recently, she was named Most Valuable Athlete after third and fifth place finishes at state.

"Kailee is a great addition to our women's squad and will join a strong hurdle group on the women's roster," said Mansur-Wentworth.
