Regular-Season Finale at CBU on Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield's men's soccer team is rolling right into the final weekend of Western Athletic Conference games on a four-game win streak. After back-to-back weekends going undefeated in league the Roadrunners are tied for third in WAC standings and have California Baptist on tap for their regular-season finale.

The last time Bakersfield and CBU met was last season when the `Runners tallied a 2-1 win over the Lancers. California Baptist opened scoring in the 34th minute but it was all CSUB in the second half. Senior Niklas Korber netted the game-winner from Ryan Goldsmith who had the assist on the equalizer too.

CBU checks in at 5-11-2 overall with four of their five wins from WAC opponents. The Lancers will be hungry for a win on Saturday being it's their season finale and they're on a two-game losing streak. Saturday afternoon's match is set for 2 p.m.

CSUB has secured a spot in the WAC Tournament but seeds two through seven have not yet been determined and will be decided across the conference this weekend.
