Biography

2019 (SENIOR): Second-Team All-WAC selection after scoring a team-high seven goals, five assists and 19 points...Started all 18 games in which he appeared as a senior...Scored game-winning goals against UNLV (10/4), Grand Canyon (10/6) and Houston Baptist (11/3)...Recorded career best two goals in 2-0 win over Houston Baptist...Collected a goal and an assist in team's 4-0 win over Incarnate Word (10/25)...Registered an assist in 1-0 WAC Tournament win over San Jose State (11/13)...Led CSUB with 42 shot attempts and 21 shots on goal...His 19 point season ranks as the fourth-highest scoring individual campaign in the program's DI history. 

2018 (JUNIOR): Was CSUB's most productive offensive player...led the team with five goals, tied for team-high with four assists and led the team with 14 points...produced game-winning goals in the season opener against Bethesda and the upset of No. 7 Air Force...tied for team lead with 15 shots on goal and was third on the team in total shots (28)...had season-high six shots against Incarnate Word on 10/21...had three points against Pacific on 8/27...played in all 18 matches...started final 13 games of the season...named Honorable Mention All-WAC.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Started all 23 matches for Louisburg College in 2017...scored 10 goals and produced 18 assists for 38 points...led team in assists and was second on the team in goals and points...named First Team All-Region X...led the Hurricanes to the region and conference championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mayfield Community School...coached by Martin Cambridge...scored over 100 goals in three years of high school...led his high school team to three league championships...represented the Republic of Ireland in two European Championships.

PERSONAL: Born on July 16, 1996 in Cork, Ireland...son of Sean Goldsmith and Marie Winfield...kinesiology major.
