CSUB's 5th Annual Education Day Sold Out

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Icardo Center will be buzzing with excitement Friday morning as CSU Bakersfield's annual Education Day men's basketball game is officially sold out. The Roadrunners will lace up and play in front of dedicated season ticket holders and thousands of Kern County schoolchildren on Nov. 15 with tipoff against Life Pacific scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Icardo Center.

The 2019 season marks the fifth-annual Education Day event for CSUB men's basketball. The `Runners have enjoyed at- or near-capacity crowds in each of the previous four seasons and Friday's game is no exception. While season ticket holders will have their spots reserved and a small number of CSUB student-section seats will be set aside, the box office has officially closed the sale of pre-game ticket sales and gameday walk-up sales.

Do not be discouraged if you were unable to snag a ticket for this year's Education Day game as CSUB still has 13 home games remaining after Friday. It is not too late to look into season ticket options while single-game tickets will be available for all of Bakersfield's upcoming home contests. For home information on tickets, call 661-654-BLUE, email tickets@csub.edu, or visit GoRunners.com/tickets.

`Runner fans who want to see CSUB in action on Friday can follow along live via ESPN+. Links to the video broadcast, a radio broadcast, and live stats are all available on the men's basketball schedule page.
