CSUB Welcomes Unbeaten SU on Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Now heading into the last four weekends of WAC men's soccer action, it'll be important that CSU Bakersfield makes the most of its opportunities on the pitch as the Roadrunners look to win points at home.

There are three sets of ties across the conference for third, fifth and seventh. Bakersfield rounds out the standings draw for seventh. Kansas City and CSUB check in at 2-3-0. UTRGV and Air Force fight for third at 3-2-0 while California Baptist and San Jose State are at a stand-still for fifth with a 2-2-1 WAC record.

Bakersfield welcomes a well-oiled Seattle U roster that's riding a six-match unbeaten streak and is second in the league (4-0-1) just one tie or win behind first-place. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Seattle U leads the all-time series 10-6-3. After a pair of draws in 2014 it's been all SU in the win column as the Redhawks have tabbed the last six matchups. Declan McGlynn and Noe Meza are the glue for SU with 16 (7g, 2a) and 12 (6g) points, respectively.

CSUB is led in scoring by Niklas Korber who has nine points (4g, 1a) on the season. Ryan Goldsmith and Carlos Armendariz are close behind Korber with three goals each.
