CSUB Athletics Offers Federal Employees Free Tickets

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield Athletics is pleased to join a movement of college athletics and entertainment organizations offering free tickets to federal employees during the government shutdown. The Roadrunners are offering these employees the chance to enjoy exciting home games and matches for free through the end of January.

All federal employees who present a valid federal ID will receive up to four (4) free tickets to any CSUB men's and women's basketball game or wrestling match in January. Tickets may be claimed ahead of time by calling 661-654-BLUE or by submitting this ticket information request form. These tickets can also be claimed on game day at the Icardo Center Box Office, beginning an hour before the event starts.

The following CSUB Athletics events will be valid for the free ticket offer described above:
Jan. 17, 7 p.m. – Men's Basketball vs. Kansas City
Jan. 19, 7 p.m. – Men's Basketball vs. Chicago State
Jan. 20, 2 p.m. – Wrestling vs. Northern Colorado
Jan. 24, 7 p.m. – Women's Basketball vs. California Baptist
Jan. 27, 2 p.m. – Wrestling vs. Stanford
Jan. 29, 7 p.m. – Men's Basketball vs. UC Santa Cruz

Note: This offer is not limited to one event per federal employee, but any employee wishing to attend multiple events must intend on personally attending each event for which they RSVP. Federal employees must show valid ID each team he or she attempts to claim tickets.
