CSUB Announces 2019 Indoor Track & Field Schedule

Bakersfield, Calif. – The CSU Bakersfield women's indoor track and field team released their 2019 schedule. The Roadrunners will use two invitational meets next month to prepare for WAC Indoor Championships in February.

"The team has been working very hard this fall and I am very excited to see what we can accomplish this season," said Director of Track & Field, Marcia Mansur-Wentworth.

Women's track and field open their indoor season on Friday, Jan. 11 when the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks host their annual NAU Friday Night Challenge in Flagstaff, Ariz. The women return to Flagstaff the following week for the Lumberjack Team Challenge before taking a five-week break from competition to train for the WAC Indoor Championships in Boise, Idaho on Saturday, Feb. 22 through Sunday, Feb. 23.

"We have some great leadership this year and I expect great things," added Mansur-Wentworth. "I feel the schedule the staff and I have put together will prepare us for the WAC Championships."
