COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- The CSU Bakersfield divers closed out the 2015 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Wednesday. Carlee Burks (So., Bakersfield, Calif., Centennial HS) and Sarah Barker (Jr., Indianapolis, Ind., Saint Bonaventure) concluded the meet with the platform.
Burks finished with a stronger score for the third straight day as the sophomore from Bakersfield posted a score of 170.55 on Wednesday. The score was just under three points lower than Burks' best and only mark of the year from the WAC Championships (172.95). The Centennial High School graduate finished 30th out of 34 divers on the platform. Barker scored 126.80 points which was 20 points lower than her score from the WAC Championships. The junior finished in 34th place.
