BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-- The Roadrunner women's swimming and diving team will host the University of Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 31, for a dual meet at the Hillman Aquatic Center.
“Idaho is going to be a fun meet,” said Chris Hansen, Director of Swimming at CSU Bakersfield. “The Vandals are tough and we are going to have to be at our best. We will be down some girls due to sickness and injury, but, I still think we can pull this off. We will be looking to Carlee Burks, Nicolette Goncalves, Paola Hernandez, and Kelsey Lange to lead this squad to a WAC win.”
Idaho, an affiliate member of the Western Athletic Conference, finished sixth at the 2015 WAC Championships, one position and just 14 points behind the 'Runners. CSUB and the Vandals are well matched and will fight for every point Saturday morning.
The first event of the dual is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Hillman Aquatic Center. As is the case for all CSUB home athletic events, parking is free for fans and entrance to swimming and diving meets is also free. Full results and a recap of the dual will be posted here Saturday afternoon.
