BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-- Senior guard Marilyn Naderhoff (Santee, Calif., West Hills HS) has been awarded a top-level academic honor for the 2013-14 school year at CSU Bakersfield. The California native, who will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in biology, earned the Outstanding Biology Senior Award for her academic success.

Naderhoff was also named to the Academic All-WAC team this winter. She joined a group of WAC student-athletes who met the eligibility requirements: a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. Naderhoff played in 29 of the Roadrunners' 31 games this season, averaging almost two assists per game while maintaining her strong academic performance.
