Grayson Ends Career with WAC All-Tournament Honors

LAS VEGAS, Nev.- Redshirt senior guard Issiah Grayson ended his CSUB career on a high-note being named to the Western Athletic Conference all-tournament team following his performance in Bakersfield's first conference tournament last week.

Grayson scored 29 points to lead Bakersfield to a 68-62 win over Chicago State in the quarterfinals before scoring a career-high 33 points in Bakersfield's 69-63 semifinal loss to New Mexico State on Friday night.

For the week the team's leading scorer averaged 31 points-per-game while shooting a combined 19-of-33 from the field (57%), 8-of-14 from three-point range (57%) and 16-of-17 from the free-throw line.

Grayson ended the season as Bakersfield's leading scorer averaging 17 ppg while also averaging 18 ppg in WAC play where he shot 52% from the field and 46% from three-point range.

He also had 124 assists this season and leaves as the Roadrunners all-time leader in assists in games played at the NCAA Division I level with 303 to his credit.
