"Today was the best we have swum against San José," said Bakersfield director of swimming and diving Chris Hansen. "Michaela Paige, Delise Batiza, and Paola Hernandez continue to impress us. Paola and Delise had great meets today. The 400 free relay of Michaela, Paola, Kelsey Lange and Lauren Kaufman was also a great relay for us. I think we just have to ride the momentum of having some good races today for a very close meet against Fresno State tomorrow. I need to see more than Paolo, Michaela and Delise. The same three names keep coming around and around. We need a couple more women to step up tomorrow to beat Fresno State for the first time ever."
Bakersfield swims at Fresno State on Saturday with the meet scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
