BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Former 'Runner Emily Bliss has been chosen to represent the United States and will play softball at the 2013 Maccabiah Games.
The Maccabiah Games is a Jewish Olympic festival held every four years in Israel with teams participating from all over the world. The games will run from July 17-30 with the opening ceremony occuring July 18.
Bliss played for the Roadrunners from 2009-12, appearing in 84 games, starting 56 times. She hit .276 for her career with three home runs and 17 RBI's. She scored 24 runs and posted nine doubles.
