BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The CSU Bakersfield wrestling team (7-5, 1-3 Pac-12) will host Stanford on Sunday on Senior Day in the Icardo Center. The dual begins at 3 p.m. Sunday's dual will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Roadrunner program.

CSUB leads the all-time series against Stanford 25-8. The Cardinal have won three in a row against the Roadrunners including a 28-9 decision last season in Palo Alto. The Cardinal are 5-14, 1-3 in the Pac-12. 165-pounder Bret Baumbach leads the probable Stanford starters with a 19-9 record. Heavyweight Dan Scherer is 18-9.

CSUB's Bryce Hammond (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield HS) is ranked in all five major Division I polls entering the dual. Hammond's highest ranking at 174 pounds is 18th in the Takedown Wrestling Media Dual Impact Index. Tyler Iwamura (R-Sr., San Diego, Calif., Santa Fe Christian HS) is ranked in three polls at 125 pounds. Ian Nickell (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield HS) who is still out due to a broken right thumb, is ranked in three polls at 133.

The Roadrunners will have one remaining regular season dual after Sunday. CSUB travels to Cal Poly to face No. 13 Central Michigan next Sunday.
